St. Michael Catholic's win came from a few key players Mobile Christian will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Gunner Rivers, who threw for 300 yards and five touchdowns. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for four or more in each of the last three games he's played. Friday's matchup might be decided on the ground. Mobile Christian has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 210.5 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like St. Michael Catholic struggles in that department as they've been averaging 188.8 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Mobile Christian couldn't quite get it done against St. Michael Catholic in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 as they fell 45-35. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Cardinals' Moss, who rushed for 225 yards and four TDs, and also picked up 70 receiving yards.
