Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Arts Academy at Benjamin Rush, who are still winless after their fourth match. They were beaten by Motivation 63-29 on Thursday.
Parkway West's defeat was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-4. As for Arts Academy at Benjamin Rush, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 0-4.
Parkway West was able to grind out a solid victory over Arts Academy at Benjamin Rush in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, winning 47-39. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Arts Academy at Benjamin Rush's Nasir Forrest, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds.
