Cedaredge is 8-2 against North Fork since January of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Cedaredge Bruins will be home for the holidays to greet the North Fork Miners at 7:30 p.m. Cedaredge is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
Cedaredge's 18-4 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They took a serious blow against Coal Ridge on Tuesday, falling 89-43. Cedaredge was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 51-24.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Rylan Brooks, who scored 14 points. The match was his third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Tullis, who scored ten points.
Meanwhile, North Fork earned a 51-41 win over Vail Mountain on Friday. The win was just what North Fork needed coming off of a 64-33 defeat in their prior matchup.
Among those leading the charge was Moss Inman, who scored 18 points along with four steals. Ryder Hart was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with five rebounds.
Cedaredge's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for North Fork, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1.
Cedaredge strolled past North Fork in their previous meeting back in February by a score of 63-45. Will Cedaredge repeat their success, or does North Fork have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
