 Taylor Whited  went 6 for 13  on her way to 17  points and five  steals, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best she's  had all season long. As if that's not impressive enough, the  contest was  her fourth in a row with two or  more steals. On the season,  she  has averaged 9.7 points, 3.4  steals,  and 3.3  boards.
 Whited and Montezuma-Cortez will get a bit of extra time to process the  loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Centauri at 6:00  p.m.  on January 17th. The  matchup will pit Whited up against  the Falcons' star point guard  Braelyn Tucker. With so much talent on the court, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.
