Another player making a difference was  Roman Hite, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances.
 Meanwhile, Shawe Memorial came up short against Jac-Cen-Del on Tuesday and fell  12-8.
 Shawe Memorial saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Philip Kahn, who  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jacob Hertz, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 1-for-4.
 Switzerland County's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Shawe Memorial, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
