Kennedy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as KIPP King apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2014.
Kennedy's loss came despite strong showings from Jerry Graham and Tyler Martin. Graham scored 20 points, while Martin scored 18 points. That's the first time this season that Graham scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Marvin Singleton, who scored nine points.
KIPP King's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from David Rogers, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 16 rebounds. Ja'mauri Woodfolk was another key contributor, scoring 22 points.
Kennedy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for KIPP King, their win bumped their record up to 8-6.
