Madison is 2-0 against Custer since August of 2021, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Madison Bulldogs will head out on the road to face off against the Custer Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. Custer took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Madison, who comes in off a win.
Madison fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They walked away with a 14-2 win over Vermillion on Friday. 14 seems to be a good number for Madison as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

Madison's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB 7.5 times. Leading the way was Tyan Braskamp and his 3.5 sacks.
Meanwhile, Custer had to suffer through a rough 55-23 loss at the hands of Canton. Custer was down 55-20 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
The losing side was boosted by Brady Virtue, who picked up 87 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
Madison's victory on Friday bumped their record up to 2-6. Custer has traveled a rocky road this season, as they've lost six of their first eight games, which leaves them at a 2-6 record this season.
Madison barely slipped by Custer in their previous meeting back in October of 2022, winning 1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Madison since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
