The Franklin Community Grizzly Cubs will host the Plainfield Quakers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Franklin Community is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.3 points per game this season.
Franklin Community is headed into the matchup having just posted their biggest victory since February 9, 2024 on Friday. Everything went their way against Perry Meridian as Franklin Community made off with a 52-30 win. The Grizzly Cubs haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Franklin Community's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kolt Nelson, who posted eight points in addition to 12 rebounds and six assists. The dominant performance gave Nelson a new career-high in assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayce Nielson, who put up ten points and four steals.
Nelson wasn't the only one working in the assist department: Franklin Community was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Perry Meridian only racked up eight assists.
Meanwhile, Plainfield escaped with a win on Friday against Greenwood by the margin of a single free throw, 65-64.
Plainfield's win came from a few key players Franklin Community will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Noah Smith, who went 12-for-20 on his way to 27 points and seven boards. His evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Harper Baker-Lands, who went 7-for-9 en route to 19 points.
Plainfield has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points over those games. As for Franklin Community, their victory bumped their record up to 7-11.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Franklin Community has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 24.6 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Plainfield struggles in that department as they've been averaging 23.1 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
