In what's become a running theme this season, the Bartow Yellow Jackets gave their fans yet another huge victory on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 59-24 victory over Auburndale at home. The win was nothing new for Bartow as they're now sitting on three straight.
Bartow found their leader in underclassman Ja'kylen Crossley, who scored 12 points. Another player making a difference was Rickjerlin Senior feliz, who scored seven points along with two steals.
Bartow has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season. As for Auburndale, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-16.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bartow will take on the Lakers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Windermere Prep is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road. As for Auburndale, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Bolts at 8:00 p.m. Hopefully Ridge Community focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Tuesday.
