It was another big night for Brooklyn Saunders, who went 5 for 11 on her way to 15 points in addition to seven assists and five steals. The contest was her fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Hannah Moss, who posted eight points and five steals.

Butler better keep an eye on Mackenna Weisner. She was instrumental in East Mecklenburg's win, going 8 of 18 on her way to 30 points. Those 30 points gave Weisner a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Stallings, who put up three points along with seven rebounds and four steals.

Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Butler has crashing the boards this season, having averaged 36.7 boards per game. However, it's not like East Mecklenburg struggles in that department as they've been averaging 27.5 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Everything went Butler's way against East Mecklenburg in their previous matchup back in February, as Butler made off with a 64-41 win. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was East Mecklenburg's Presense Downer, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds. Now that she won't be playing on Friday, will it be easier for Butler to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
