The Copper Canyon Aztecs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 46-45 to Kofa. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Copper Canyon in their matchups with Kofa: they've now lost four in a row.

The match was Barber's third in a row with at least ten points. Elijah Braveheart was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 10 points and 10 rebounds.
Copper Canyon now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Kofa, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Willow Canyon the next time they take the court. Copper Canyon will head out to face Willow Canyon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Kofa will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
