Skyline won against Monroe on Monday with 12 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 12-1 margin over the Trojans. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won ten contests by six runs or more so far this season.

The win (which was Skyline's third in a row) raised their record to 15-8-1. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Monroe, they dropped their record down to 3-17 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.
