Tri-Valley is a perfect 7-0 against Shenandoah Valley since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Bulldogs will take on the Blue Devils at 4:30 p.m. Tri-Valley will be strutting in after a win while Shenandoah Valley will be coming in after a loss.
Tri-Valley's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Nativity BVM with a sharp 16-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Alina Leonard made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April of 2025. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs.
Tri-Valley always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .677. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Nativity BVM only posted an OBP of .077.
Meanwhile, Shenandoah Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against Marian Catholic, falling 22-7. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
Giana Troutman was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. Those RBI were her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jocelyn Chagolla, who went 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
Tri-Valley now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Shenandoah Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.
Tri-Valley's speedy runners might be the difference in Thursday's game. The Bulldogs have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.3 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Shenandoah Valley, though, as they've been averaging only 1 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Tri-Valley continue to outrun the ball?
Everything went Tri-Valley's way against Shenandoah Valley in their previous meeting back in April of 2025, as Tri-Valley made off with a 15-0 win. Do the Bulldogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Blue Devils turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
