Church Point entered their tilt with Livonia on Saturday with three consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against the Livonia Wildcats by a score of 12-7. For the Bears, this counts as revenge for the 4-3 win the Wildcats walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2016.
Luke Baudoin made a big impact no matter where he played. He pitched 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single earned run, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in March of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in two of his five plate appearances. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.
In other batting news, Jack Venable was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in February. Ethan Little also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.
