Salem's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Josh Harrington, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Patrick Stone, who scored five points along with seven rebounds.
Salem's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Hartford Central, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Salem will face off against Corinth at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hartford Central, they will head out on the road to face off against Lake George at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Lake George presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Hartford Central in New York (Lake George is ranked 276th, while Hartford Central is ranked 688th).
