Susquenita hasn't had much luck against Millersburg recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Susquenita Blackhawks will host the Millersburg Indians at 7:30 p.m. Susquenita will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
Susquenita will bounce into Monday's game after beating West Perry, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Everything went Susquenita's way against West Perry on Saturday as Susquenita made off with a 52-32 victory. The Blackhawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 20 points or more this season.

Dylan Trimmer continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 26 points and ten rebounds. His evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jacob Vega, who posted seven points and six steals.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Millersburg beat New Covenant Christian 58-52 on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Indians.
Millersburg's win came from a few key players Susquenita will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Nolan Schreffler, who went 6 of 13 on his way to 17 points in addition to seven steals and six assists. He has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last seven times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Romberger, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine boards.
Millersburg was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as New Covenant Christian only racked up eight assists.
Susquenita pushed their record up to 8-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 22.5 points. As for Millersburg, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Susquenita has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 29.5 boards per game. However, it's not like Millersburg struggles in that department as they've been averaging 33.1 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Susquenita couldn't quite finish off Millersburg in their previous meeting back in January of 2024 and fell 41-39. Can Susquenita avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
