Norris extended the longest winning streak in B District 5 this week by beating Seward, 37-15. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.
Beatrice and Crete played the most contested game in the league this week, with Beatrice eventually emerging with a 19-14 victory. Reece Gronewold ran for 123 yards and caught 1 pass for 15 yards during the win.
Keith Wolverton put up the best numbers in passing as the Bluejays fell to Norris. He finished with a total of 12 completions for 149 yards and 1 touchdown.
Seward's Wolverton and Ben Klenke led the league in both passing and receiving yards. Wolverton has thrown for 1,363 yards this season, while Klenke has 18 catches for 350 yards. The Orangemen's Jessup Workman leads the league in rushing yards with 1,474.
Jamie Opfer's team lost to Jim Jacobsen's team 37-15 last week, the largest margin of any game. Wolverton was a bright spot for the Bluejays, as he ran for 39 yards in the loss.
