Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask South Eugene). They enjoyed a cozy 73-57 victory over the Beaverton Beavers on Friday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Axe with their most commanding win of the season.

The win got South Eugene back to even at 3-3. As for Beaverton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Eugene will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Mountain View at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Beaverton, they will venture away from home to challenge Corvallis at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
