Meanwhile, Glenwood put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 6-1 victory over Springfield.
Irie Lohrenz spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on six hits and racked up 11 Ks. Those 11 strikeouts set a new season-high mark for her.
On the hitting side, Sydney Feld was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two stolen bases, and two RBI. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Bobb, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
