Cozad took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Chase County Longhorns 84-39. The victory continues a trend for the Haymakers in their matchups with the Longhorns: they've now won five in a row.

Cozad wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 69-22 win against Maxwell on the 6th. As for Chase County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 66-52 loss against McCook on the 5th.
