Holy Spirit Prep lost a heartbreaker when they last took the court, but unfortunately for them the defeat they were handed on on Friday was a bit more commanding. They were the victim of a tough 60-36 defeat at the hands of Atlanta Girls' School. While losing is never fun, Holy Spirit Prep can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 480th, while the Hurricanes are ranked 235th).
Cristo Rey Atlanta has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season. As for Holy Spirit Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-12.
