Pierce won against Guardian Angels Central Catholic last Thursday with 59 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. The Pierce Bluejays took down the Elkhorn Valley Falcons 59-45. The victory was nothing new for the Bluejays as they're now sitting on three straight.

Despite the loss, Elkhorn Valley had strong showings from Kellyn Ollendick, who went 11-for-19 en route to 25 points and three steals, and Korbin Werner, who went 7-for-12 to rack up 18 points in addition to seven assists and six boards. The game was Ollendick's fourth in a row with at least 15 points.

Pierce's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-13. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.3 points over those games. As for Elkhorn Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 13-7 record this season.

Looking ahead, Pierce will welcome Wayne at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Wayne is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.4 points per game this season. As for Elkhorn Valley, they will venture away from home to square off against Pender at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
