Wren posted their closest victory since March 7th on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Spartanburg Vikings 11-9. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Hurricanes also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2024.

The victory made it two in a row for Wren and bumps their season record up to 10-4. As for Spartanburg, they now have a losing record of 8-9.

Looking ahead, Wren will head out on the road to challenge Westside at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Rams will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last. As for Spartanburg, they will host Boiling Springs at 6:30 p.m. on the 14th.
