Big Game from Long As Miller Won 59-7
Starting off the list is Miller's Trevor Long, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Long threw for 310 yards and six touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes.
Miller is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. Long and Miller will head out to challenge King at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Reed Dooms's big game helped extend Gregory-Portland's winning streak to three on Friday. Dooms turned in nothing short of a gem, throwing for 218 yards and two touchdowns on only 16 passes, while also rushing for 69 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.
Dooms might have his next game, a road matchup with Carroll, circled on his calendar. Dooms threw for 322 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 12.4 yards per attempt, and also punched in a rushing score the last time he and the Tigers duked it out back in August of 2023.

Brian Mccullum Puts an End to Ray's Losing Streak on Friday
Ray's six-game losing streak is now nothing but a memory thanks in part to Brian Mccullum. Mccullum produced his best game of the campaign on Friday: he rushed for 81 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up a sack and making seven total tackles (2.0 for loss).
Ray's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-6. Mccullum and Ray will venture away from home to challenge Corpus Christi Moody at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Corpus Christi Moody Gets a Boost from Dufour in 56-12 Defeat
Rounding off our Top Five is Kayden Dufour of Corpus Christi Moody. Dufour rushed for 107 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also picked up 34 receiving yards. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 61 yards.
Dufour and Corpus Christi Moody will be playing in front of their home fans against Ray at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Dufour will face off against Anthony Salinas, the Texans' star running back. Will the matchup be decided in the trenches? We'll have our answer very soon.
