Escambia County found their leader in underclassman Cleo Bolar jr., who scored 31 points along with seven steals and six assists. That makes it five consecutive games in which Bolar jr. has scored at least 25% of Escambia County's points. Another player making a difference was Michael French, who scored 11 points along with four steals.
Satsuma's loss was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-15. As for Escambia County, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Satsuma will take on Jackson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Jackson is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games. As for Escambia County, they will head out on the road to face off against T.R. Miller at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
