DePaul Cristo Rey has struggled against Gamble Montessori recently, as their match on Tuesday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the defeat, DePaul Cristo Rey had strong showings from Daizya White, who scored eight points, and Jazmin Tubbs, who scored three points along with 11 rebounds and three blocks.
DePaul Cristo Rey's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Gamble Montessori, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-2.
DePaul Cristo Rey will head out on the road to face off against Oyler at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Gamble Montessori, they will be playing at home against Cincinnati College Prep Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
