The Casa Grande Cougars have the luxury of staying home another week and will welcome the Marana Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Thursday, Casa Grande had just enough and edged Sunnyside out 14-12.

Meanwhile, Marana put the finishing touches on their third blowout victory of the season on Friday. They blew past Desert View 49-8 at home. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-0.
Darian Dewitt and Colten "Coco" Meyer were among the main playmakers for Marana as the former gained 105 total yards and two touchdowns and the latter threw for 274 yards and four touchdowns while completing 84.6% of his passes.
Casa Grande's victory was their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 6-2. As for Marana, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-5.
Everything came up roses for Casa Grande against Marana in their previous matchup back in October of 2014 as the squad secured a 49-7 victory. Will Casa Grande repeat their success, or does Marana have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
