With a playoff win on the line, Olpe rose to the challenge on Thursday. They snuck past the Little River Redskins with a 57-53 victory. The win was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won four games in a row.

Little River lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Jaxson Konen, who shot 75% from the field en route to 14 points. The last time his field goal percentage was this high was back in December of 2024. Logan Schubert was another key player, dropping a double-double with 11 points and ten boards.

Olpe's victory bumped their record up to 22-2-1. As for Little River, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 15-8 record.

Olpe didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 44-34 win against Central Plains on the 14th. Little River does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
