The Heritage Huskies can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They secured a 54-48 W over Leesville Road. This was payback for Heritage, who suffered a 70-44 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Heritage to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cam Jones, who scored 15 points along with 5 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of KJ Cox, who scored 14 points along with 8 rebounds.
Heritage's win bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Leesville Road, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-1.
Heritage will take on Enloe at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Enloe focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up six last Saturday. As for Leesville Road, they will square off against Knightdale at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Knightdale's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
