James Monroe was led to victory by Mary Beth Meadows and Maggie Boroski. Meadows dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten assists, while Boroski dropped a double-double on 25 points and 12 steals. That's the first time this season that Meadows posted eight or more assists. Mya Dunlap was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Mount View's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for James Monroe, they pushed their record up to 4-2 with that win, which was their third straight at home.
