Basketball Game Preview: Redwood Christian Eagles vs. California Crosspoint Rams

The Redwood Christian Eagles will take on the California Crosspoint Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Redwood Christian's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last ten contests.

Redwood Christian is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 98-59 victory over Berean Christian. Redwood Christian has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 23 points or more this season.

David Rogers and Nehemiah Mitchell were among the main playmakers for Redwood Christian as the former dropped a double-double on 41 points and 14 rebounds and the latter went 6 for 10 from beyond the arc en route to 31 points and five assists. Rogers' afternoon made it ten games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Garrett Hubbard, who dropped a double-double on 12 boards and ten blocks.

They weren't the only one working in the assists department: Redwood Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 23 assists. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now racked up at least 20 assists in four consecutive matches.

Meanwhile, California Crosspoint came up short against Making Waves Academy on Monday and fell 68-60. The loss continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Marlins: they've now lost three in a row.

Redwood Christian's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-3. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 28.2 points. As for California Crosspoint, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
