Volleyball Recap: Monday's Win Is Whitney's Third in Last Four Outings

Granite Bay came into Monday's game looking for another win against Whitney, but Gavin Roeker wouldn't allow it. The Wildcats walked away with a 3-1 win over the Grizzlies on Monday thanks in part to Roeker, who had 17 digs and one assist. He has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last three times he's played.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-16, 20-25, 26-24.

Whitney is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-19 record this season. As for Granite Bay, their loss dropped their record down to 17-15.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Whitney is set to face off against their familiar foe Rocklin at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Granite Bay will challenge rival Del Oro at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
