A Season-Best Performance from Walson Morin Leads Key West over Killian
On Friday, Key West got the W thanks in part to Walson Morin playing the best football he has all season. Morin rushed for 213 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (102.3) per game. His longest rush was for an incredible 80 yards.
The win was the fourth in a row for Key West, bringing their record for this year to 5-2. Morin and Key West will face off against Northwestern at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Big Game from Fox As Key West Won 42-29
Keeping Morin company is Jaden Fox, a fellow Key West player. He rushed for 198 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.1 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 145 rushing yards dating back to last season.
This year, Fox has run in 10 touchdowns while averaging 175.7 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had three rushing touchdowns.

Northwestern had to settle for second on Friday, but Leon Strawder sure wasn't going down easily. Strawder turned in nothing short of a gem, throwing for 181 yards and two touchdowns, while also punching in a touchdown on the ground.
On the season, Strawder has thrown 19 touchdowns while averaging 217.5 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after six games last season, he was only averaging 1.67 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 26 rushing yards.

Another Key West player making an appearance on this list is Jeff Dejean. He rushed for 63 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries.
This season, Dejean has run in 3 touchdowns while averaging 50.3 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he was only averaging 1.5 rushing yards per game.

Hunter Boyd Makes Top Five
Rounding off our Top Five is Hunter Boyd of St. Brendan. Boyd made two total tackles.
St. Brendan has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. Boyd and St. Brendan will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Immaculata-La Salle at 7:00 p.m. on October 18th.
