After two weeks on the road, Williamsburg is heading back home. They and West Marshall go head to head on Friday at 7:00 PM in their first playoff match of the year. West Marshall will need to watch out since Williamsburg have now posted big point totals in their last six contests.
Last Friday, Williamsburg put the finishing touches on their 5th blowout victory of the season. They blew past Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont 54-21. The win was familiar territory for Williamsburg, who now have six in a row.
Meanwhile, West Marshall took an ego-bruising loss against Benton two weeks ago, but they kept their chin up and bounced back last Friday. West Marshall walked away with a 26-16 victory over Union.
Their wins bumped Williamsburg to 6-3 and West Marshall to 7-2. We'll see which team can carry over their success and which team inevitably falls when Williamsburg and West Marshall clash.
