Overton made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 2,619 from 3,513. The advance stemmed from a 27-13 victory over Arlington last week.
McGavock's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Deanthony Patrick threw for 143 yards and Chris Claybrooks had 62 yards receiving. On the ground Patrick chipped in 108 yards. Robert Russell helped McGavock's passing attack out by catching six balls for 33 yards.
Marshone Dickerson made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Raiders fell to Dickson County. The 5-foot-7 senior recorded one fumble.
McGavock's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Raiders feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Patrick has thrown for 1404 yards and nine touchdowns this season, while Russell has 36 catches for 424 yards. Patrick also leads the league in rushing with 1009 yards.
Antioch fell 17-12 to Hillsboro in the closest game of the week.
