Basketball Recap: Thursday's Win Is Belleview Christian's Third in Last Four Outings

Belleview Christian won the last time they faced Dayspring Christian Academy, and Justus Cunningham did his part to make sure it happened again. The Belleview Christian Bruins came out on top against the Dayspring Christian Academy Eagles by a score of 50-40 on Thursday thanks in part to Cunningham, who almost dropped a double-double on 18 points and nine boards. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

When it comes to explaining why Dayspring Christian Academy lost, don't look at Owen Mcclanahan. Despite the final result, he went 6 of 10 en route to 12 points and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Hudson Weigt, who posted nine points and six rebounds.

Belleview Christian has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 4-5 record this season. As for Dayspring Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-7.
