Pioneer's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Oak Grove Eagles with a sharp 16-2 win. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by six runs or more this season.

Gina Scripoch made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed five innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. Scripoch was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

In other batting news, Cara Goodrich was incredible, going 4-for-5 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Gizelle Ortiz, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Pioneer kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 22 hits. They are 4-1 when they post 11 or more hits.

Pioneer's record now sits at 8-15. As for Oak Grove, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

Pioneer does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Oak Grove, they are taking a road trip to take on Silver Creek at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles are facing the Raiders at the right time seeing as the Raiders are stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
