When it comes to explaining why Dover lost, one person who can't be blamed is Syncere Bailey. Despite the final result, he rushed for 72 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries.
Dover's loss dropped their record down to 5-3-1. As for Exeter, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.
