The Seaford Bluejays had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 38 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. Everything went their way against North Dorchester as Seaford made off with a 70-47 victory. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 41-12.
Kashmier Wise had an outrageously good game as he shot 5-for-10 from downtown and dropped a double-double on 31 points and 12 rebounds. The game was his third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jordan Smith, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds.
Seaford's victory was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 28.91 points. As for North Dorchester, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Seaford won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Laurel at 5:45 p.m. on December 19th. Laurel knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past four matchups -- so hopefully Seaford likes a good challenge. North Dorchester will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Kent County at 5:30 p.m. on January 11, 2024.
