James Young had a dynamite game for North Muskegon, throwing for 260 yards and two touchdowns while completing 72.2% of his passes, and also punching in two touchdowns on the ground. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Christensen, who picked up 99 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Pewamo-Westphalia stacked a eighth blowout onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 42-15 win over Bath. Given Pewamo-Westphalia's advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 103rd, while Bath is ranked 259th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
North Muskegon's win bumped their record up to 11-0. As for Pewamo-Westphalia, their victory bumped their record up to 10-1.
