Meanwhile, Stanwood strolled into their game on Thursday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came out on top against Monroe by a score of 6-1.
Stanwood got a massive performance out of Jemma Lopez, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, one triple, and one run. That triple marked the first that Lopez has hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Rancourt, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Stanwood kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in May of 2025.
Stanwood's record is now 10-0. As for Everett, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.
