If East Central wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Johnson, they should've done a better job of containing Rileigh Butler. The Jaguars blew past the Hornets 3-0 on Tuesday with plenty of help from Butler, who had 13 digs and two aces. She has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last five times she's played.

While Johnson won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-22, 25-17.

Johnson is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-7 record this season. As for East Central, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 19-10 record this season.

Johnson has already played their next match (against Judson), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for East Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Clemens on the 26th.
