The Tampa Prep Terrapins suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Wednesday. They were beaten by Academy of the Holy Names 56-25. It was the first time this season that Tampa Prep let down their fans at home.
Several Terrapins players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kimora Green, who scored eight points.
Tampa Prep's defeat ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 9-7. As for Academy of the Holy Names, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-7.
Tampa Prep will take on Carrollwood Day at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Academy of the Holy Names, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Largo at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
