For Chowchilla, this counts as revenge for the 87-71 loss Orosi walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2017.
Leading Chowchilla to victory were Khaled Escheik and Ryan Deatherage. Escheik dropped a double-double on 16 points and 13 rebounds, while Deatherage scored 19 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which Deatherage has scored at least 25% of Chowchilla's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dellvonta Vaughn, who scored 4 points along with 8 rebounds and 4 steals.
Chowchilla now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Orosi, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
