Frankfort will challenge Onaga on the road on Friday. If the contest is anything like the 42-58 finish from the last time they met, the scorekeeper will be kept real busy.
Frankfort had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They steamrollered Linn 62-12. The Frankfort offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.
Meanwhile, Onaga had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. Last Friday, they were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap, as they fell 48-54 to Valley Falls.
Frankfort's victory lifted them to 1-0 while Onaga's defeat dropped them down to 0-1. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, Frankfort and Onaga will really light up the scoreboard.
