The Redeemer Christian Lions waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They came out on top against Aucilla Christian by a score of 63-52. That's another feather in the cap for Redeemer Christian, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
It was another big night for Beau Suarez, who scored 25 points along with six steals and five rebounds. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Davis Lehman, who scored 13 points along with two steals.
Despite the loss, Aucilla Christian still got an impressive performance from Ethan Bass, who scored 28 points along with nine steals and six assists. Benjamin Faglie was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with seven rebounds and four blocks.
Redeemer Christian pushed their record up to 8-9 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.6 points per game. As for Aucilla Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-6.
Redeemer Christian will head out on the road to challenge Seven Rivers Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Seven Rivers Christian is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. As for Aucilla Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Wakulla Christian School at 7:30 p.m. Wakulla Christian School has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
