Hobart put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season on Thursday. They took their contest against Cordell by a conclusive 39-14 score. Hobart were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
The win was the 6th in a row for Hobart raised their record to 6-2. This is the second loss in a row for Cordell and nudges their record down to 2-6.
It's more conference action for Hobart and Cordell in their upcoming matches. Next week Hobart will take on Merritt at 7:00 PM. Hobart have seen their point totals decreasing over the past four games, a vulnerability Merritt are surely hoping to exploit. Cordell will stay at home against Hollis at 7:00 PM. Hollis stagger in eager to bring about an end to their eight-game losing streak.
