The Harding Skippers can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game  on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a  43-22 margin over Lake Ridge Academy. The  victory was just what Harding needed coming off of a  64-8 defeat in their prior  contest.
  Madisen Mcfadden was a one-man wrecking crew for Harding as she  scored 24 points along with eight  rebounds and six  assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Mcfadden has scored all season.  Madison Hunt was another key contributor,  scoring six points along with three  steals.
 Despite the  defeat, Lake Ridge Academy had strong showings from  Lillian Shmois, who  scored eight points along with 11  rebounds, and  Kathryn Krueger, who  scored 12 points along with seven  rebounds. That's the first time this season that  Shmois  pulled down eight or more   rebounds.
 Harding's win bumped their record up to 4-10. As for Lake Ridge Academy, they bumped their record down to 1-10 with that  loss, which was their tenth straight  at home.
 Harding on the road again  on Thursday and play against Chalker at 7:00  p.m.  on January 18th. Chalker comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 20 points in their last four games, a trend the  squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Lake Ridge Academy, they will look to defend their home court  on Thursday against Medina Christian Academy at 12:00  p.m. Medina Christian Academy's defense has only allowed 24.9  points per game this season, so Lake Ridge Academy's offense will have their work cut out for them.
