On Friday Wilson take on Forest Grove at 7:00 PM. Wilson will be strutting in after a victory while Forest Grove will be stumbling in from a loss.
After having lost a blowout to South Eugene in their previous game, Wilson were happy to find some success last week. Wilson won a match that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Cleveland 28-27. The tight race was right in line with the MaxPreps state rankings' forecast.
Meanwhile, Forest Grove came up short against Scappoose, falling 32-44.
Forest Grove's defeat took them down to 1-1 while Wilson's win pulled them up to 1-1. A win for Forest Grove would reverse both their bad luck and Wilson's good luck. We'll see if Forest Grove manages to pull off that tough task or if Wilson keeps their momentum going instead.
