Scott County won the last time they faced Highlands, and things went their way on Friday, too. Everything went Scott County's way against Highlands as they made off with a 28-7 win. Scott County was expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Scott County's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 28 points in the first half. Highlands came up with 7 to make it 28-7 heading into the break. The other side of the ball continued to do well for Scott County in the second half and held Highlands to 0 points. The victory bumped Scott County's record up to 2-0. The loss dropped Highlands's record to 2-0.
Next week, Scott County take on Archbishop Moeller at 7:30 PM. Scott County continues their travels as they hit the road for the second straight game. As for Highlands, they will face off against Ryle.
